Dinner – 24 to 26 January 2017

Well it’s that time of year again when we sit down and write out a jobs to do, replace and repair list for our old buildings and courtyard. Looking back on last years most of them got ticked off and a few more added as we went along as bits of kit broke down or a leak or two appeared!

Oldstone weekend dinner menu – 31 Jan and Saturday 1 February 2014

Just ordered the fish for the weekend.               “Skippers catch” gives you all the provenance of the fish you are buying….for example…..fishing out of Hayle in Cornwall, skippers Chris Stevens and Peter Lapskas sail their day boats, Lady Jacqueline and Grandad, to source some of the finest and sustainable Mackerel in the South West. Their mackerel are handline caught and any undersized fish are released to reduce overfishing and ensure sustainability. The fish are placed on slush ice and delivered to our supplier within hours of being caught then forwarded to Oldstone tomorrow morning.

Valentines update….the dining room is now full but as in previous years we will set up 3 candle lit tables in the cosy bar area so you still have a chance to secure a table.
