Mid week menu -5 to 7 February 2019

What a week! The threat of snow, the arrival of snow and the aftermath of snow and sub zero temperatures meant customers were very thin on the ground. Just to add to the pain the heating has taken on a mind of it’s own. It switches off when it feels like it and the clock tells a different time to that set. A new electronic programmer is on order. Not to be left out the dishwasher decided not to heat the wash water. This meant a call out the man who can and of course new parts were required for that too. On the plus side…England won the rugby.

Mid week menu – 29 to 31 January 2019

Hilary’s dad would often say “there is no such thing as a ten minute job”. He was proved right once again this weekend when I thought I would just touch up the marked paintwork and water splashes in the ladies loo. Two coats of paint later we are just waiting for the floor to dry so we can put the freshly washed curtain back up and refit the wall fixtures!
