Weekend menu – 11 & 12 August 2017

It’s the second week in August and we were thinking about putting the heating on last night to take the chill off the dining room….aahh the great British summer!     At the moment we have tables available for Friday evening but Saturday is filling up so please call on 01453 832808 to reserve for dinner. Saturday brunch served from 11a.m. and no need to book, just pop in. If it’s dry we will have the courtyard open too.

Severn and Wye oak smoked salmon and crayfish tail parcel

Twice baked mature Cheddar soufflé on creamed spinach (15 mins please)

Weekend dinner menu -2 & 3 September 2016

Lots of blackberries in the nearby hedgerows at the moment so we combined a bank holiday walk with a spot of foraging and they are on the menu with pan roasted duck breast and a rich red wine sauce. Weekend tables available at the moment, as usual please call 01453 832808 to book yours.

Strange as it sounds we want a bit of rain. Let me explain. Pete put a scaffold tower up in the courtyard to give him access to the roof valley that has been causing problems. Until it rains to test his repairs he obviously does not want to take it down but in the meantime it is an eye sore and also means we loose a table on the patio if it is               “al fresco dining” weather. You can’t win can you?
