Weekend menu – 15 & 16 March 2019

She’s back! Delia the duck was spotted wandering along our wall looking somewhat displeased as her regular nesting site on top of the shed had been stripped bare of all foliage due to our neighbours refurbishing their shop. She has however built a nest in one of the raised beds and we have screened it off with a few pot plants so she should be fine and we await the arrival of the ducklings in due course.

He was proved right once again this weekend when I thought I would just touch up the marked paintwork and water splashes in the ladies loo. Two coats of paint later we are just waiting for the floor to dry so we can put the freshly washed curtain back up and refit the wall fixtures!
