Menu – weekend 5 & 6 May 2017

The menu sounds very Spring / Summer like with asparagus, Jersey Royals, crab, citrus, strawberries etc. but I would advise a jumper as the sun is hiding behind low cloud and that breeze is quite chilly. Please call us on 01453 832808 to book your table for this weekend. Thank you.

We need to think about picking some pears off our tree. There is so much fruit this year that the branches are sagging on top of the car despite stringing up netting. We have a new hanging sign at last after the old one came down in the stormy weather earlier in the year. Now we just need the front wall repairing following the incident with the out of control car and resulting insurance claim and we can freshen up the paintwork and look smart again for a while!
