Pan fried Cornish mackerel fillet, asparagus, Jersey Royals, mustard dressing

Sea bass fillet simply pan fried and served with salsa verde

Mid week menu – 15 to 17 May 2018

Quite a number of customers ate from the vegetarian menu over the weekend and appreciated the extra choices. That’s nice to hear. We gave the shop front a lick of paint yesterday, you don’t realise how faded it gets until you start applying a fresh coat, take a look as you pass by. Better still don’t pass by…come in for dinner!

Here comes the weekend……menu written, orders placed, weather looks promising….will you be joining us? Dinner served from 7p.m. Friday and Saturday with tables available at the moment. Saturday brunch served in the dining room and “al fresco” in our courtyard from 11a.m. No need to book, it’s very casual so just drop in, grab a newspaper and relax.

Duck update….she is sat on top of the lean to shaking off the rain drops but no sign of hatching yet. It’s Nailsworth Festival this Saturday. Lot’s going on around the town and we will be featuring Double Gloucester Rarebit alongside our usual brunch menu from 11a.m. ….no need to book. The posters for Nailsworth festival are going up saying that we can not participate in the food trail due to a clash of events this year. Event 2 has been postponed due to an unfortunate accident so we will be here and open on Festival Saturday offering a Double Gloucester Rarebit festival food trail special alongside our regular brunch menu.
