I don’t know if it’s due to all the Veganuary articles we keep reading at the moment but our veggie menu was much in demand this weekend.

Devon crab meat, lemon and dill mayonnaise, toasted sour dough

Warm salad of roast local venison loin with red onion marmalade

Did you hear that boffin on the radio yesterday proposing a 2 tier tax on both red meats and processed meats……whatever next? Whilst we still can we have just collected some lovely venison fillets and plump pheasants from our local butcher which will be on the menu this weekend.
