Red onion soup with double Gloucester croutons
Devon crab meat, lemon dill mayonnaise and toasted sour dough
Warm salad of roast local venison fillet, wild rocket and onion marmalade
Severn and Wye smoked salmon, smoked mackerel pâté, smoked haddock fish cake
Field mushrooms on toast, garlic and flat leaf parsley butter
Pan fried sea bass fillet on a bed of ratatouille
Cornish monk fish loin, baby leaf spinach, mild curry cream
Roast local pheasant breast, English apple and cider reduction
Sautéed Cotswold pork escallops, winter mushroom and chive cream sauce
Aged local beef fillet “au poivre” (£3.50 supplement – sorry)
Puff pastry tart filled with spinach, beetroot and melting goats cheese
Treacle tart served warm with clotted cream ice cream
Baked lemon cheesecake, tangy lemon sorbet
