Mid week menu 20 to 22 June 2017

We got the courtyard set up and stood by for a busy Saturday brunch and…….nothing happened! We had a few in but none of our “regulars” showed up and Nailsworth was like a ghost town. I guess the garden or the seaside were a bigger draw on the hottest day of the year so far. Hopefully better luck next week.

Weekend menu – 12 & 13 May 2017

We enjoyed a nice busy brunch last weekend with young Lucy having to dash out mid service for supplies so I have ordered a good quantity of gluten free Gloucester sausages, free range Dursley eggs and home cured bacon from Country Quality Meat for this Saturday. Weekend menu – 17 & 18 March 2017

Regular readers may recall the incident last July when a car crashed through the railings outside and smashed into the corner wall of the restaurant. Many weeks of dealing with insurers, builders etc. followed and the wall was eventually repaired. The two damaged sections of railings however were never replaced and the highways department said it needed instructions from district and local councils before proceeding. Well, surprise surprise a couple of chaps pitched up yesterday and planted two shiny new sections of railing a mere eight months after they removed the old bent ones. Table 6 in the window is now a well defended place to sit and eat. Please call 01453 832808 to book it!
