Mid week menu – 21 to 23 February ’17

Ahhh … it’s Sunday…the only day of the week we don’t have to field numerous telephone calls from energy suppliers, utility agents, business rates advisers and the like as well as folk selling advertising space and of course those who seem to think we have a never ending supply of raffle prizes and free meals to give away to their many worthy causes. So it’s a chance to get a bit of work done undisturbed. If however you want to book a table we will gladly take your call on 01453 832808!

Mid week menu – 11 to 13 October 2016

Have you been watching the Great British Menu on the telly? I still don’t see the point of taking a prime cut of meat and putting in a water bath for a couple of hours then colouring it in a sea of butter. If it is as good a joint as you claim just seal it, roast it , rest it and carve it!
