Menu – weekend 5 & 6 May 2017

The menu sounds very Spring / Summer like with asparagus, Jersey Royals, crab, citrus, strawberries etc. but I would advise a jumper as the sun is hiding behind low cloud and that breeze is quite chilly. Please call us on 01453 832808 to book your table for this weekend. Thank you.

Dinner – weekend 6 & 7 January 2017

Did you get out in the sunshine on bank holiday Monday? We had a day trip to the Welsh coast, lovely walk, stunning beaches and crab sandwich for lunch. Before heading home we bought some “just picked” organic Pembrokeshire purple sprouting broccoli to go with a tomato and basil risotto and the dozen scallops we hadn’t sold on New Years Eve, all enjoyed with a glass or two of chilled wine…………Happy days! Tables available for dinner this weekend, please call 01453 832808 to book.

Dinner – 6 to 8 September 2016

Not again! Following the recent incident when a car crashed in to the front of the restaurant (repairs due to start any day) we notice our hanging sign at the front is bent out of shape, you know the one that says  “low headroom” on the side facing the flow of traffic! It must have been done by one of the delivery lorries that frequently bounce up on the kerb there but of course no one put their hands up to it.

Now we need another dry spell so that he can get back up there and investigate why we need a bucket on the landing to catch an annoying drip! We are fully booked for Saturday night again. Space on Friday at the moment, please ring us on 01453 832808 to book a table.
