We received a demand for £550 to renew our music licence! We can only accommodate 24 people and all we do is play cd’s that we have already bought as background music for a few hours each evening. Do you think anyone would notice or care if we just unplugged the thing and saved the money?

Weekend menu – 14 &15 September 2018

Some local courgette growers have been kindly passing on their surplus harvest, hence this weekends soup. In a similar vein we put out a crate of our surplus pears with a “help yourself” note and they were gone within a few hours. Yesterdays wedding function went well despite their coach letting them down and 20 guests arriving almost an hour late! Day off today for us and there are still a lot of blackberries around the five valleys in need of foraging.
