Dinner – 3 to 5 January 2017

Happy New Year! After a busy few weeks we have enjoyed our day off today taking down decorations and giving the place a really good clean as well as catching up on jobs such as defrosting fridges, cleaning extractors, descaling dishwashers and servicing water softeners……we know how to have a good time! Thank you for your custom over the festive period and we look forward to seeing you at Oldstone very soon.

Blame it on Brexit seems to be the answer to everything from rising wine, food and fuel costs to lack of customers and folk not spending. In the meantime HM Gov tells us small business owners to increase wages and provide work place pensions for all………thanks a lot!

We don’t normally think about festive menus until September or October but Hilary has taken another booking for New Years Eve already! No Delia the duck news as yet, she flies off a couple of times a day for a short period then settles back on the nest well hidden under the bushes.
