Weekend menu – 6 & 7 April 2018

Last week we took the brunch menu out of the menu box by the front door and stuck it on our “A board” so that we could showcase our veggie menu alongside the weekend dinner menu. (with me so far?) We then had the quietest Saturday brunch any of us can remember since we opened so for this weekend it’s all back as it was! The beast from the East….The geezer from the freezer…call it what you will it is mid morning and the thermometer in our snow covered courtyard reads minus 4 C. Undeterred  we have just placed our fish order and written the weekend menu. As we live above we will be open whatever the weather and the heating will be on full. Don’t forget our 3 course for the price of 2 dinner offer. Mothers day lunch is almost fully booked. Saturday brunch will be served from 11a.m. as usual, put your wellies on and wander down. There we were happily preparing for a full Saturday evening service when not one but two tables rang and cancelled…………..grrrr. It is cold! Winter has well and truly arrived and here is the first menu of December. Tables available for both Friday and Saturday at time of writing. Please call 01453 832808 to book. Looking ahead, Christmas eve dinner (Sunday 24th) is filling up and we still have tables for New Years eve dinner (Sunday 31st) but a couple of phone calls can soon change that so please don’t leave it too long to secure your booking.
