Jeremy Vine is on the Beeb at the moment trying to explain the current situation with the shambles that is Brexit and it seems no one has any clue about what to do next!

We have one table available for lunch on Sunday if you want to treat Mum.

Butternut squash soup

A simple starter of oak smoked salmon, Devon crab meat and prawns

Roast Mediterranean vegetables with smashed avocado on toasted sour dough

Cornish monk fish bites in spicy tomato sauce

Gloucester sausage on warm new potato salad with mixed pickles

Poached salmon loin, baby leaf spinach and mild curry cream

 Pan fried sea bass fillet with little plum tomatoes and torn basil leaves

Roast free range chicken breast, buttered leeks and grain mustard jus

Sautéed Cotswold pork escallops, English apple and cider sauce

Aged local beef fillet “Chasseur” (£3.50 supplement – sorry)

Chestnut mushroom Stroganoff with red, white and wild rice

 

Warm bakewell tart with clotted cream ice cream

Dark chocolate and orange torte, tangy orange sorbet

Baked lemon cheesecake

Four West Country cheeses, Bath Olivers and Hilary’s fruit bread
