Smooth butternut squash soup

Anya potato, pea shoots and prawns with spiced avocado and sweet chilli dressing

Black pudding, spinach and mushroom stack topped with a poached egg

Smoked and poached salmon with lemon and dill mayonnaise

Wild rocket and ripe pear salad with crumbled goats cheese and hazelnuts


Pan fried sea bass fillet on plum tomato and oregano sauce

 Seared swordfish steak with lemon and basil butter

Roast local pheasant breast, English apple and cider cream sauce

Sautéed Cotswold pork escallops, braised lentils and smoked bacon

Aged local beef fillet, Stroud brewery ale and onion gravy (£3.50 supplement – sorry)

Mixed mushroom Stroganoff with red, white and wild rice


Warm Bakewell tart with clotted cream ice cream

Baked cheesecake with apple and blackberry compote

Triple chocolate brownie served warm with white chocolate ice cream

Four West Country cheeses, Bath Olivers and Hilary’s fruit bread
