A quiet Wednesday gave us the opportunity to freshen up the brunch and vegetarian menu’s now that autumn is upon us as well as finalising the festive period programme. Three courses £30      Two courses £25.50

Roast tomato soup

Smoked fish trio with lemon and dill dressing

Gloucester sausage and mash, sautéed onions and gravy

Old school avocado and prawns, Marie Rose sauce

Wild rocket, pear and Parmesan salad, pumpkin seeds and balsamic


South coast plaice fillet with peas, baby gem and Prosecco cream

Pan fried sea trout supreme on curried cauliflower florets

Roast Barbary duck breast sliced over English cherries and Brandy jus

Sautéed Cotswold pork escallops, mixed mushroom and chive cream sauce

Aged local beef fillet, shallot and rich red wine reduction (£3.50 supplement – sorry)

Courgette and ratatouille parcels baked under pesto cream


Dark chocolate and salty caramel tart with salty caramel ice cream

Spiced home grown pear cake, cinnamon whipped cream

A classic crème brulée with strawberries and fine butter shortbread

Four West Country cheeses, Bath Olivers and Hilary’s fruit bread
