Mid week menu – 11 to 13 September 2018

The pears are falling off our tree already so we may be harvesting a bit earlier than usual. We still have some of last years chutney left though.

Evesham leek and potato soup

Pan fried Devon crab cake with sweet chilli dipping sauce

Warm chorizo and onion tart, house slaw and pickles

A simple plate of Severn and Wye oak smoked salmon

Wild rocket and peach salad, buffalo mozzarella, pine nuts and balsamic dressing


Pan fried sea bass fillet on dark soy, sesame and ginger jus

South coast plaice fillet with crayfish and mild curry cream

Roast Barbary duck breast sliced over apple sauce and cider gravy

  Aged local beef fillet, roast shallot and red wine reduction (£3.50 supplement, sorry)

Sautéed Cotswold pork escallops with pepperonata

Mixed mushroom millefeuille, herb cream sauce and truffle oil

 Blueberry and almond tart served warm with clotted cream ice cream

Baked cheesecake with late summer berries

Dark chocolate and orange torte, tangy orange sorbet

Four West Country cheeses, Bath Olivers and Hilary’s fruit bread
