Weekend menu – 20 &21 July 2018

Fresh fish ordered for delivery on Friday morning, menu printed, lists made, prep started…….now we just need a few more “bums on seats” to make it all worth while. Please call us on 01453 832808 to book for dinner this weekend. Just checked the weather and it looks like we’ll be serving brunch in the courtyard again this Saturday from 11a.m. till 3 ish. Roasted red pepper soup

Pan fried Cornish mackerel fillet, tomato, basil and red onion

Wild rocket, peach and shaved Parmesan salad with Parma ham

Mixed mushroom millefeuille, chive cream sauce and truffle oil

Cray fish tail, Jersey Royal and broad bean salad, mint dressing

 

Sea reared trout supreme on lemon buttered samphire

Sea bass fillets simply pan fried with chilli and garlic

7 spiced Barbary duck breast sliced over dark soy, sesame and ginger jus

Sautéed Cotswold pork escallops, Gloucester sausage, sage and onion gravy

Aged local beef fillet, tarragon and tomato, rich red wine reduction                                (£3.50 supplement – sorry)

Baharat spiced aubergine and chick pea stew on red, white and wild rice

 

Summer berry and vanilla cream tartlet, red berry sorbet

A trio of dark chocolate

Baked cheesecake with ripe mango compote

Four West Country cheeses, Bath Olivers and Hilary’s fruit bread
