Leek and sweet potato soup

Pan fried Devon crab cake with sweet chilli dipping sauce

Rich, slow cooked venison ragu, spaghetti and Parmesan

A simple starter of Severn and Wye oak smoked salmon and prawn Marie Rose

Warm spinach and ricotta tart, homemade piccalilli

 

Pan roasted cod fillet with red onion, samphire and bacon lardons

Poached Cornish monk fish tail, mild curry cream sauce

Roast Barbary duck breast sliced over braised red cabbage and cider gravy

Sautéed Cotswold pork escallops with sage and onion gravy

Aged local beef fillet “au poivre” (£3.50 supplement – sorry)

Chestnut mushroom Stroganoff on red, white and wild rice

 

Dark chocolate and salty caramel tart with clotted cream ice cream

Moist Tunisian almond cake, tangy orange sorbet

A classic crème brulée with fine butter shortbread

Four West Country cheeses, Bath Olivers and Hilary’s fruit bread
