Mid week menu – 18 to 20 July 2017

It’s all very well going paperless and getting invoices and statements by email but it’s costing us a fortune in paper and ink. How does that work?

Three courses £29 50     Two courses £25     Starter and pudding £14.50


Cornish kale soup

Wild rocket, ripe peach and Parmesan salad, balsamic dressing

A simple starter of Severn and Wye smoked salmon, Devon crab and prawns

Galia melon with Serrano ham and chorizo

Fried squid, new potato and tender stem salad, lemon and dill mayonnaise


Cornish monk fish tail with mussels in a tomato and basil stew

Pan fried sea bass fillet with salsa verde

Asian spiced Barbary duck breast sliced over dark soy, sesame and ginger jus

Sautéed Cotswold pork escallops with Gloucester sausage and cider gravy

  Aged local beef fillet, grilled red onion, Port reduction (£3.50 supplement, sorry)

Tomato risotto with roast Mediterranean vegetables and pesto


Baked cheesecake with summer berries

Dark chocolate and English cherry torte, clotted cream ice cream

Lemon tart with tangy lemon sorbet

Four West Country cheeses, Bath Olivers and Hilary’s fruit bread
