Mid week menu – 16 to 18 May 2017

The posters for Nailsworth festival are going up saying that we can not participate in the food trail due to a clash of events this year. Event 2 has been postponed due to an unfortunate accident so we will be here and open on Festival Saturday offering a Double Gloucester Rarebit festival food trail special alongside our regular brunch menu.

Three courses £29 50     Two courses £25     Starter and pudding £14.50


Roasted red pepper soup

Prawn and crayfish tail tian with spiced avocado and sweet chilli jam

Chorizo sausage on sweet potato mash

Twice baked goats cheese soufflé, spinach cream sauce (15 mins please)

Oak smoked salmon with English asparagus and Jersey Royal salad


Cornish monk fish tail in a rich tomato and basil sauce

Pan fried sea bass fillet on dark soy, spring onion and ginger jus

Roast Barbary duck breast sliced over Bramley apple sauce and cider gravy

Sautéed Cotswold pork escallops, mixed mushroom and chive cream sauce

  Aged local beef fillet, red onion marmalade and Port reduction (£3.50 supplement, sorry)

Mixed vegetable chilli with red, white and wild rice


Triple chocolate brownie with salty caramel ice cream

A classic crème brulée with fine butter shortbread

Blueberry and almond tart served warm with clotted cream ice cream

Four West Country cheeses, Bath Olivers and Hilary’s fruit bread
