It looks like we are going to be hosting the ducks again this spring. One has been on top of the lean to doing a bit of housekeeping recently and it looks like a nest is being built up in the corner. Butternut squash soup

            Potted Devon crab, caper mayonnaise and toasted sour dough           

Pressed ham hock and parsley terrine with cider apple slaw

Seafood crêpe baked under double Gloucester cream

Woodland mushroom millefeuille, chive cream sauce and truffle oil


Cornish monk fish tail in sweet pepper and basil sauce

 Poached sea trout supreme with Prosecco cream sauce

Aged local beef fillet, tarragon butter and a rich red wine reduction                             (£3.50 supplement – sorry)

Sautéed Cotswold pork escallops, buttered leeks and grain mustard gravy

Pan roasted free range chicken breast, paprika cream and crisp pancetta

Roast tomato risotto, melting goat’s cheese and pine nuts


Warm pecan tart served with clotted cream ice cream

Baked lemon cheesecake, tangy lemon sorbet

Milk chocolate and salty caramel mousse
