This time next week it will all be over….another mince pie anyone? A reminder of our opening hours is below the menu. Please note we are fully booked for Christmas Eve and have just one table of 2 left for New Years Eve.Compliments of the season and thank you for your custom in 2016.

Festive fortnight 20 to 31 December 2016

Dinner – Three courses £29.50

 

Roasted red pepper soup

Pan seared scallops, sweet potato puree, chorizo and chilli oil

Twice baked Stilton soufflé, baby leaf spinach and walnuts (15 minutes)

Finely sliced dill cured salmon, beetroot and horseradish crème fraiche

Pressed ham hock terrine with home grown pear chutney

 

Cornish monk fish tail, buttered kale and mild curry cream sauce

Pan fried sea bass fillet on dark soy, sesame and ginger jus

Roast local pheasant breast with chestnuts and Cognac cream

Slow braised Cotswold venison in rich red wine gravy, little onions and mushrooms

Aged local beef fillet with tarragon, tomato and vintage Port reduction                      (£3.50 supplement – sorry)

Winter squash risotto, honey roasted aubergine, pine nuts and pumpkin seeds

 

Pecan tart served warm with gingerbread ice cream

A trio of chocolate

Baked cheesecake with spiced cider apple compote

Four West Country cheeses, Bath Olivers and Hilary’s fruit bread
