A much better week’s trade last week with a nice mix of long time customers with some new faces and a few tourists too. Let’s hope we can repeat it this week.

Three courses £29 50     Two courses £25     Starter and pudding £14.50


Red onion soup with double Gloucester croutons

Prawn, crayfish tail and avocado tian with sweet chilli dressing

Baked field mushroom stuffed with ratatouille under a pesto crust

Squid linguine “carbonara”

Spiced lamb flat bread, cucumber and mint relish


Poached plaice fillets with Prosecco and parsley cream sauce

Steamed salmon supreme with spring onion, dark soy, sesame and ginger

Roast Barbary duck breast sliced over Nailsworth valley blackberries and red wine jus

Sautéed Cotswold pork escallops with mushrooms and paprika cream

  Aged local beef fillet, garlic buttered spinach, tomato pan juices (£3.50 supplement, sorry)

Three cheese and green onion tart with roast vine tomatoes


Baked cheesecake with mango compote

Dark chocolate sunken flourless cake with white chocolate ice cream

English strawberry and cream tartlet

Four West Country cheeses, Bath Olivers and Hilary’s fruit bread
