A bank holiday weekend and then we will be in to September, where does the time go?


Dinner                                  Tuesday 30/8 to Thursday 1st September 2016

Three courses £29 50     Two courses £25     Starter and pudding £14.50


Butternut squash soup

Tian of prawns and crayfish tails with spiced avocado and sweet chilli dressing

Warm ham hock tart, wild rocket and pickled carrot salad

Pan fried Cornish mackerel fillet with home grown pear chutney

Twice baked double Gloucester soufflé on baby leaf spinach (15 minutes please)


Poached sea trout supreme, buttered samphire and Prosecco cream

Cornish monk fish tail, plum tomato stew and crisp smoked bacon

Roast Barbary duck breast sliced over Bramley apple sauce and cider gravy

Cotswold pork escallops, Evesham leeks and grain mustard sauce

  Aged local beef fillet, melting blue cheese and a rich red wine reduction                           (£3.50 supplement, sorry)

Chestnut mushroom Stroganoff with red, white and wild rice


Summer berry and vanilla cream tartlet, red berry sorbet

Dark chocolate truffle cake

Pecan tart served warm with clotted cream ice cream

Four West Country cheeses, Bath Olivers and Hilary’s fruit bread
