Dinner menu – 19 to 21 April 2016

It was nice to be able to put out the fully booked sign on both nights this weekend.   With the sun shining we must start on the annual maintenance list, writing it down at least but maybe not getting the paint brushes out for a few weeks yet! 


Dinner                  Tuesday 19th to Thursday 21st April 2016

Three courses £29 50 Two courses £25 Starter and pudding £14.50


Lentil and tomato soup

Severn and Wye oak smoked salmon, Devon crab meat and prawns

Grilled chicken and baby gem Caesar salad with rosemary croutons

Pan fried Cornish mackerel fillet, crisp apple and pea shoot salad

Warm double Gloucester and leek tart with rhubarb chutney

Pan fried sea bass fillet with lemon buttered samphire

Poached salmon supreme, baby leaf spinach and mild curry cream

Roast Barbary duck breast sliced over sweet and sour blueberry jus

Aged local beef fillet, wild garlic butter and red wine reduction (£3.50 supplement, sorry)

Baharat spiced aubergine and chick pea stew with red, white and wild rice

Dark chocolate and ginger cheesecake, stem ginger crème fraiche

Spiced apple cake with cinnamon whipped cream

A classic crème brulée with fine butter shortbread

Four West Country cheeses, Bath Olivers and Hilary’s fruit bread
