Weekend menu – 22 & 23 January 2016

It’s cold!!….but at least it has been dry for a few days. We are fully booked for Saturday dinner but have tables a plenty for Friday at the moment. Mention this blog post to receive a complimentary glass of Prosecco per person when booking a table for Friday dinner on 01453 832808.

Roasted red pepper soup
Pan fried Cornish mackerel fillet with home grown pear chutney
Evesham leeks wrapped in air dried ham baked under Parmesan cream
Devon crab, prawn and crayfish tail “cocktail”
Twice baked double Gloucester soufflé on baby leaf spinach cream sauce (15 minutes please)
Seared swordfish steak with cracked pepper and lime butter
Poached sea trout supreme with mild curry cream sauce
Pan roasted local pheasant breast with lentil and cider jus
Sautéed Cotswold pork escalopes, mushroom and chive cream sauce
Aged local beef fillet “au poivre” £3.50 supplement – sorry!
Chestnut mushroom Stroganoff with red, white and wild rice
Mulled wine jelly with crème brulée ice cream
Baked dark chocolate ginger cheesecake, stem ginger crème fraiche
Apple and almond tart served warm with clotted cream ice cream
Four west country cheeses, Bath Olivers and Hilary’s fruit bread
