Lovely atmosphere on Saturday night, full restaurant and the carol singers were as good as always. Another table sold for New Years Eve…..don’t leave it too late to book!

Chestnut mushroom soup, white truffle oil
Warm salad of local venison loin, wild rocket and beetroot
Severn and Wye oak smoked salmon, prawns and Marie rose sauce
Melting goats cheese, pesto and roasted red pepper puff
½ dozen Isle of Man queenies grilled with chorizo butter
Pan roasted line caught cod loin on cherry tomato stew
Poached supreme of sea trout in Prosecco cream sauce
Aged local beef fillet “au poivre” £3.50 supplement – sorry!
Sautéed Cotswold pork escalopes topped with creamed Evesham leeks
Roast local pheasant breast, Port and orange sauce
Baharat spiced aubergine and chick pea stew on red, white and wild rice
Limoncello tiramisu
Dark chocolate truffle torte with red berry sorbet
Spiced apple cake with clotted cream and gingerbread ice cream
