Weekend menu 20 & 21 November 2015

You would not want to be a fisherman this week! Sea conditions off the south west coast have been modestly described as difficult so we have opted for some farmed fish this weekend. Last weeks 2 for 1 offer had a poor take up so we’ll have another go this week……just mention the blog offer when booking on 01453 832808 and receive 3 courses for the price of 2 on our dinner menu all weekend….free puds for the whole table!

Friday 20th and Saturday 21st November 2015

Evesham leek and sweet potato broth
A bowl of steamed rope grown mussels with tomato, garlic and chilli
Roast local Roe deer fillet, redcurrant and wild rocket
Finely sliced Severn and Wye oak smoked salmon, Devon crab meat and prawns with Marie rose sauce
White bean flat bread, roasted peppers, red onion and pea shoots
Poached supreme of loch reared trout, Prosecco cream sauce
Pan fried sea bass fillet, pickled ginger, soy and sesame dressing
Aged local beef fillet “au poivre” £3.50 supplement – sorry!
Sautéed Cotswold pork escalopes, mushroom cream and truffle oil
Pan roasted local pheasant breast with Cox’s apple and cider gravy
Twice baked double Gloucester soufflé on spinach cream sauce
Triple chocolate brownie served warm with salty caramel ice cream
Baked lemon and lime cheesecake, tangy orange sorbet
Warm blueberry and almond tart, clotted cream ice cream
Four west country cheeses, Bath Olivers and Hilary’s fruit bread
