Dinner menu – 17 to 19 November 2015

There’s a lot of it about………..I refer to the coughs, colds and flu like symptoms that caused a number of customers to cancel bookings last week. Not to be left out Hilary developed a nasty cough of her own! ……..Lets see what this week brings.

Butternut squash soup
Severn and Wye oak smoked salmon, Devon crab meat and prawns
Autumn mushroom millefeuille, chive cream sauce and truffle oil
Pan fried fillet of gilt head bream with home grown pear chutney
Roast Roe deer fillet, pickled red cabbage and Port jus
Cornish monk fish tail with mild curry cream
Pan fried fillet of Pole harbour grey mullet on tomato and olive sauce
Aged local beef fillet, garlic mushroom and red wine reduction

Sautéed Cotswold pork escalopes, buttered leeks and grain mustard jus
Roast local pheasant breast, chestnut and brandy cream sauce
Spinach and Feta cheese tart
Warm blueberry and almond tart, clotted cream ice cream
