Weekend dinner menu – 6 & 7 November 2015

Rain rain go away! We have a silly little bit of flat roof at the highest part of the building which has started to drip and good old Pete can not get up there to attempt a repair whilst it is raining as is the forecast for the next 5 days at least……buckets in situ for now.

Roasted red pepper soup
Tandoori spiced sea trout fillet with cilantro salad
Baked free range egg, air dried ham and Parmesan cream
Devon crab meat and prawn tian, mango and sweet chilli sauce
Wild rocket, pear and Cornish blue salad with walnut dressing
Sea bass fillet simply pan fried and served with lemon and dill dressing
Roast line caught cod loin on plum tomato, red onion and basil sauce
Aged local beef fillet, garlic buttered spinach and rich red wine reduction £3.50 supplement – sorry!
Sautéed Cotswold pork escalopes, mixed mushroom cream sauce
Pan roasted local pheasant breast with cider braised lentils
Baharat spiced aubergine and chick pea stew on red, white and wild rice
Dark chocolate and ginger cheesecake, stem ginger crème fraiche
Warm apple and almond tart with green apple sorbet
A classic crème brulée with fine butter shortbread
