Weekend menu – 23 & 24 October 2015

I don’t think we’ll get any more use from the courtyard now that autumn is very much upon us  so the parasols are packed away and the furniture will go under wraps until next year. You can still enjoy Saturday brunch in the warmth of the bar and dining room though.Tables available for dinner on Friday and Saturday at the moment….please call 01453 832808 to book.

Pan fried Cornish mackerel fillet with home grown pear chutney
Warm salad of flash roasted local venison loin with wild rocket and
red onion marmalade
Prawn and crayfish tail tian, pineapple and sweet chilli dressing
Baked field mushrooms with olive bulgur wheat and feta cream sauce
Pan fried sea bass fillet with lentils and chorizo
Poached salmon supreme, baby leaf spinach and white wine cream
Aged local beef fillet with tarragon, tomato and a rich red wine reduction £3.50 supplement – sorry!
Roast Barbary duck breast sliced over Bramley apple sauce, cider gravy
Sautéed Cotswold pork escalopes, mushroom and chive cream sauce
Chick pea and tomato chilli with red, white and wild rice
