Oldstone will be closed all day on Saturday 15th August…sorry….we have pre warned our regular brunch patrons. We will reopen on Tuesday 18th in the evening and here is the menu.

Red onion soup with double Gloucester croutons
Pan fried Cornish mackerel fillet, home grown pear chutney
Warm salad of wild rocket, sautéed calves liver and bacon
Devon crab linguine, tomato sauce and chilli flakes
Twice baked goats cheese soufflé, roast pepper and pesto cream (15mins)
Pan fried sea bass fillet, sea asparagus and lemon
Poached salmon supreme with mild curry cream sauce
Aged local beef fillet, garlic buttered spinach and rich red wine reduction £3.50 supplement – sorry!
Sautéed Cotswold pork escalopes, mushroom sauce and snipped chives
Seven spiced Barbary duck breast sliced over dark soy and ginger jus
Baharat spiced aubergine and chick pea stew on red, white and wild rice
Warm peach and almond tart, clotted cream ice cream
Summer berry shortbread
Triple chocolate brownie with white chocolate ice cream
Four west country cheeses, Bath Olivers and Hilary’s fruit bread
