Weekend menu – 7 & 8 August 2015

Nice to be able to put the “fully booked” sign up on a Wednesday night….it normally just gets used on Fridays and Saturdays. Please call 01453 832808 to reserve your table for dinner this weekend. Looks like brunch should be outdoors this Saturday if the forecasters have got it right.

Watercress soup
Devon crab, prawn and crayfish tail “cocktail”
Serrano ham and marinated mixed tomatoes on toasted bloomer
Crisp battered squid rings, smoked sea salt and garlic dipping sauce
Grilled courgette and feta cheese tart, wild rocket and olive salad
Poached salmon supreme with samphire and lemon herb dressing
Pan seared swordfish steak, avocado and sweet chilli salsa
Aged local beef fillet “au poivre” £3.50 supplement – sorry!
Roast Barbary duck breast, Bramley apple sauce and cider gravy
Sautéed Cotswold pork escalopes, chestnut mushroom and chive cream
Red onion risotto with spiced aubergine and pine nuts
Dark chocolate and summer berry torte, red berry sorbet
A classic crème brulée with fine butter shortbread
