Menu – 21 to 23 July 2015

We woke to find 11  fluffy ducklings in the courtyard on Friday. I intended taking a picture to post on the blog in the afternoon but by lunch time mother duck had them all in the stream and they were last seen heading off towards Williams! Better luck next time…..we seem to have a couple of nests every season these days.

Sautéed Cotswold pork escalopes, buttered Jersey leeks and cider gravy
Seven spiced Barbary duck breast sliced over dark soy and ginger jus
Mediterranean vegetable risotto
Warm pecan tart with salty caramel ice cream
Summer berry and fresh cream shortbread
Dark chocolate mousse, white chocolate ice cream and warm brownie
Four west country cheeses, Bath Olivers and Hilary’s fruit bread
