We don’t normally think about festive menus until September or October but Hilary has taken another booking for New Years Eve already! No Delia the duck news as yet, she flies off a couple of times a day for a short period then settles back on the nest well hidden under the bushes. Carrot and coriander soup
South coast sardine fillets pan fried in lemon and garlic butter
Flash roasted local roebuck loin, new potato salad, shallot jus
Prawn and pea shoot pancake baked under white wine cream sauce
Wild rocket and donut peach salad, buffalo mozzarella, basil dressing
Cornish monk fish tail, spiced tomato sauce and crisp pancetta
Crispy skinned sea bass fillet on a bed of roast Mediterranean vegetables
Aged local beef fillet, Oxford blue cheese and rich red wine reduction £3.50 supplement – sorry!
Seven spiced Barbary duck breast sliced over dark soy and ginger jus
Sautéed Cotswold pork escalopes, buttered leeks and cider reduction
Spinach and mushroom millefeuille, paprika cream sauce
