Dinner 30/6 to 02/7 2015

The rain held off long enough for us to have customers dining in the courtyard for both brunch and dinner on Saturday. Heat wave forecast for the coming week…..don’t forget our mid week light supper offer of a starter and pudding, canapes, freshly baked bread and homus for £14. Some of our regulars choose two starters instead which is fine with us!

Crisp battered squid rings with sweet chilli dipping sauce
Caesar salad topped with pan seared free range chicken breast
Severn and Wye oak smoked salmon and late season English asparagus
Marinated tomatoes on toasted bloomer, Parmesan and wild rocket
Pan fried fillet of sea bass with roasted peppers and basil oil
Cornish monk fish tail, samphire and mild curry cream sauce
Aged local beef fillet with grain mustard jus £3.50 supplement – sorry!
Sautéed Cotswold pork escalopes, mushroom and chive cream
Roast Barbary duck breast with Bramley apple sauce and cider reduction
Twice baked goats cheese soufflé on creamed baby leaf spinach
Dark chocolate and ginger cheesecake, stem ginger crème fraiche
Warm pecan tart with salty caramel ice cream
An English strawberry sundae
Four west country cheeses, Bath Olivers and Hilary’s fruit bread
