Weekend dinner menu – 29 & 30 May 2015

The day boat grey mullet from Poole that we told about last week were lovely (we enjoyed the last two fillets on Monday with some asparagus and a little tomato risotto) so we have more arriving in the morning for the weekend menu. The new wine list starts this weekend. Saturday is filling up, space for Friday at the moment….please call 01453 832808 to book.

English tomato soup
Pan fried Cornish mackerel fillet, Jersey Royals and wild garlic
Wye valley asparagus and air dried ham baked under Parmesan cream
A simple starter of finely sliced oak smoked salmon, crayfish tails and prawns with Marie Rose sauce
Mixed mushroom millefeuille, chive cream sauce and white truffle oil
Fillet of day boat grey mullet (Ellie Jean – Poole) pan seared and served on a bed of roasted Mediterranean vegetables
Loch reared trout supreme with pea shoots and Prosecco cream
Aged local beef fillet with shallot and rich red wine reduction
