This weekends dinner menu – 17 & 18 April 2015

We took ourselves off to Brixham for a day trip on Monday. Fresh crab sandwiches and locally made ice cream sat by the harbour in the sunshine…..perfect!

Friday 17th and Saturday 18th April 2015

Three courses £29
Two courses £24.50

Roasted red pepper soup
Baked free range egg with air dried ham and Parmesan cream
Crisp fried squid rings, smoked sea salt and wild garlic dipping sauce
Grilled aubergine topped with spicy baby plum tomatoes and basil
A good old fashioned prawn cocktail
Pan fried sea bass fillet with mango and sweet chilli salsa
Loch reared trout supreme, buttered spinach and tomato sauce
Aged local beef fillet, red onion marmalade and Port reduction

Seven spiced Barbary duck breast sliced over dark soy and ginger jus
Cotswold pork escalopes with cannellini bean and chorizo cream sauce
Spring mushroom risotto, snipped chives and truffle oil
A classic crème brulée with fine butter shortbread
Lemon tart with lemon sorbet
Dark chocolate and cherry torte, clotted cream ice cream
Four west country cheeses, Bath Olivers and Hilary’s fruit bread
Saturday brunch served from 11a.m.
