Oldstone dinner menu for the festive period

Reminder… Christmas eve and New Years eve are fully booked. Carol singers stopping by on Friday evening…a few spaces available.We are closed on Christmas day and Boxing day. If we are not going to be seeing you over the festive period please have a lovely Christmas.

Parsnip and apple soup
Finely sliced salmon gravadlax with dill mustard dressing
Evesham leeks wrapped in air dried ham baked under Parmesan cream
Marinated seafood salad with wild rocket, lemon and a touch of garlic
Winter mushroom millefeuille, herb cream sauce and truffle oil
Pan fried fillet of gilt head bream on roast tomato sauce
Cornish monk fish tail, baby leaf spinach and mild curry cream
Aged local beef fillet “au poivre” £3.50 supplement – sorry!
Roast Barbary duck breast sliced over orange, clove and Cognac sauce
Sautéed Cotswold pork escalopes with cider, sage and onion gravy
Butternut squash and lentil bake topped with creamed sprout leaves
Dark chocolate and boozy fruit torte, red berry sorbet
Warm pecan tart served with clotted cream ice cream
A classic crème brulée with festive spiced butter shortbread
Four west country cheeses, Bath Olivers and Hilary’s fruit bread
Saturday brunch served from 11a.m.
