Oldstone weekend menu – 24 & 25 October 2014

Clocks change this weekend, half term already….welcome to winter 2014. Some tables available for dinner on both Friday and Saturday at the moment. Saturday brunch served from 11a.m…..no bookings….just drop in.

Evesham leek and potato soup
A duo of finely sliced Severn and Wye oak smoked and dill cured salmon with dill mustard dressing
Warm salad of honey roasted pumpkin, wild rocket and Parmesan
Pan fried Devon crab cake with sweet chilli dipping sauce
Potted ham hock, pea shoot and pear salad, house pear chutney
Sea bass fillet simply pan fried and served with fennel butter sauce
Five fish in a baby plum tomato and basil stew
Aged local beef fillet “au poivre” £3.50 supplement – sorry!
Roast local pheasant breast, button onions, bacon and cider reduction
Cotswold pork escalopes with chorizo and paprika cream sauce
Chestnut mushroom Stroganoff with red, white and wild rice
Dark chocolate and orange torte with tangy orange sorbet
Baked cheesecake served with a tropical fruit salsa
Warm pecan tart, clotted cream ice cream
Four west country cheeses, Bath Olivers and Hilary’s fruit bread
