Leaves turning and it’s feeling a bit “fresh” in the mornings….I think autumn has arrived.

Friday 26th & Saturday 27th September 2014

Three courses £29
Two courses £24.50

Watercress soup
A duo of finely sliced Severn and Wye oak smoked and dill cured salmon with lemon and capers
Pepper stuffed aubergine cannelloni baked under Parmesan cream
Devon crab, pink prawn and crayfish tail “cocktail”
Local venison flat bread with red onion and cucumber pickle
Cornish ray wing simply pan fried in lemon and parsley butter
Sea bass fillet on baby plum tomato and basil sauce
Aged local beef fillet “au poivre” £3.50 supplement – sorry!
Roast Barbary duck breast, Bramley apple sauce and cider gravy Cotswold pork escalopes, sautéed onions, tarragon mustard cream
Butternut squash and spinach risotto with blue cheese and toasted pumpkin seeds
Dark chocolate and salty caramel tart with crème brulée ice cream
Limoncello tiramisu with lemon sorbet
Warm home grown pear and frangipane flan, clotted cream ice cream
Four west country cheeses, Bath Olivers and Hilary’s fruit bread
Saturday brunch served from 11 a.m.
