Cold, wet and miserable…….yes it’s an August bank holiday!

Roast tomato soup
Pan fried smoked haddock fish cake with tartare sauce
Warm salad of wild rocket, sautéed calves liver and bacon
Mushroom millefeuille, herb cream sauce and truffle oil
A good old fashioned prawn cocktail
Cornish monk fish tail in a spicy red pepper stew
Poached salmon supreme with garden peas and Prosecco cream
Sautéed Cotswold pork escalopes, buttered Evesham leeks, mustard jus
Roast Barbary duck breast, sweet Victoria plum and brandy sauce
Aged local beef fillet topped with a garlic mushroom and rich red wine reduction £3.50 supplement – sorry!
Spinach and butternut squash risotto, toasted pumpkin seeds
Dark chocolate and salty caramel tart, clotted cream ice cream
Pimms jelly with strawberries and cream
A trio of sorbets
Four west country cheeses, Bath Olivers and Hilary’s fruit bread
