Oldstone weekend dinner menu – 25 & 26 July 2014

English tomato soup
Pan fried Devon crab cake with sweet chilli dipping sauce
Seared local Roe deer loin, beetroot relish and pea shoot salad
Severn and Wye oak smoked and dill cured salmon with
horseradish crème fraiche
Warm Mediterranean vegetable tart, wild rocket, pesto dressing
Poached Brixham plaice fillets in white wine and chive cream sauce
Blackened swordfish steak with a spicy tomato and mango salsa
Sautéed Cotswold pork escalopes with chestnut mushroom cream sauce
Aged local beef fillet, garlic buttered spinach and a rich red wine reduction £3.50 supplement – sorry!
Barbary duck breast sliced over roast pineapple with peppercorn sauce
Roasted red pepper risotto topped with melting goats cheese
Baked custard tart with raspberries
Dark chocolate pecan torte, crème brulée ice cream and toffee sauce
Limoncello tiramisu with lemon sorbet
Four west country cheeses, Bath Olivers and Hilary’s fruit bread
