She’s back……Delia the duck that is.  She has built a nest tucked up under the shrubbery in the courtyard and a number of eggs have been sighted…watch this space!           Lots of seasonal goodies on order for delivery/collection on Friday morning.    Salmon, crab, prawns,mackerel,brill,sea bass and clams from our fish supplier. Lamb, pork,beef, duck,bacon, sausages,free range eggs from the local butcher. English berries, salads, vegetables and Cornish spuds too.        Only one table left for Saturday evening….spaces on Friday at the moment…please call 01453 832808 to book.

Pan fried mackerel fillet on Cornish new potato salad, shoots and beets
Spiced spring lamb flat bread with cucumber and mint relish
Finely sliced Severn and Wye salmon, Devon crab meat and prawns
Heirloom tomato and buffalo mozzarella salad, basil dressing
Poached Cornish day boat brill fillet with clam chowder sauce
Fillet of sea bass simply pan fried and served with salsa verde
Roast Barbary duck breast sliced over donut peach and brandy sauce
Sautéed Cotswold pork escalopes with mixed beans, tomato and chorizo
Aged local beef fillet “au poivre” £3.50 supplement – sorry!
Mixed mushroom and spinach risotto, soft herbs and white truffle oil
