Oldstone dinner menu – 4 to 6 February 2014

That mackerel we told you about at the weekend was stunning. We sold the lot which was good but I did have my eye on a fillet for Sunday brunch so had to settle for a bacon roll instead.

Devon crab, crayfish tail and peeled prawn “cocktail”

Pan fried fillet of sea bass on fine ratatouille

Sea trout supreme with baby leaf spinach and mild curry cream

Roast local pheasant breast on slow braised red cabbage

Cotswold pork escalopes with mushroom cream sauce

Aged local beef fillet with garlic butter and rich red wine reduction
