Back to work tomorrow….festive menus finished with…..it will be good to go back to our normal routine. Next event to start thinking about will be Valentines…maybe next week!

Duo of oak smoked and dill cured salmon, honey mustard sauce

Warm salad of seared local venison loin, red gooseberry compote

Deep fried squid rings with sweet chilli dipping sauce

Warm soft cheese tart with confit tomato salad


Poached sea trout supreme, spinach and mild curry cream

Cornish monk fish tail with crab and tomato sauce

Filet mignons of aged local beef with truffle and rich Madeira jus £3.50 supplement – sorry!

Cotswold pork escalopes, winter mushroom and cream sauce

Roast local pheasant breast, apple sauce and Calvados reduction

Twice baked roasted red pepper soufflé, smoked paprika cream and Couchillo olives


Warm pear and almond tart with clotted cream ice cream

Venetian zabaglione cake

Chocolate brownie served warm with Cotteswold dairy cream

Four west country cheeses, Bath Olivers and Hilary’s fruit bread
