Well that was a good first weekend back…..full house Friday and Saturday, a fairly busy brunch and 2 Christmas party bookings!         Thank you very much.

Creamed Evesham leek soup

Pan fried Cornish mackerel fillet, cherry tomato relish

Roast pumpkin and wild rocket salad, honey mustard dressing

Finely sliced oak smoked salmon, Devon crab meat and prawns with lemon dill mayonnaise

Pressed ham hock terrine, red cabbage pickle


Poached salmon supreme, baby spinach and Champagne cream

Cornish monk fish with tomato sauce and crisp pancetta

7 spiced Barbary duck breast sliced over dark soy and ginger jus

Pan fried escallopes of Cotswold pork, mushroom cream sauce

Aged local beef fillet, red onion marmalade and rich Port reduction £3.50 supplement – sorry!

Melting goats cheese, red pepper and spinach puff with pesto and little olives


Warm plum and almond tart with clotted cream ice cream

Crème brulée with fine butter shortbread

Dark chocolate and orange torte

Four west country cheeses, Bath Olivers and Hilary’s fruit bread
