Oldstone menu for the weekend of 2 & 3 November 2012

A lot of the local shoots are off this weekend as it is so wet and many farmers still have crops to harvest. Mike the butcher assures me we will have pheasant next week though………..All the new wines are now in stock so there are some bargains to be had by drinking from our bin end list!…………Weekends in December are now getting booked up so don’t dally if you are thinking of planning an evening out.

Aged local beef fillet, a roasted shallot and rich red wine reduction £3 supplement – sorry!

Autumn mushroom and spinach millefeuille, herb cream sauce and black truffle oil


Dark chocolate and English raspberry torte

Warm pecan tart with clotted cream ice cream
