The stream beneath our courtyard seems to coping well with the downpours….fingers crossed.                                                                                              We are filling up for both Friday and Saturday dinner so please book early…………Scallops on the menu this weekend…always popular. Saturday brunch served from 11a.m.

Roasted red pepper soup

Pan seared scallops, pancetta and pea shoots, shallot dressing

Chestnut mushrooms in garlic butter over toasted bloomer

A simple plate of finely sliced Severn and Wye smoked salmon

Warm salad of watercress, apple, black pudding and bacon


Pan fried fillet of sea bass with fennel butter sauce

Cornish monk fish tail poached in tomato and mussel broth

Cotswold pork tenderloin, paprika and mushroom cream sauce

Roast Barbary duck breast on blueberry and vintage Port jus

Aged local beef fillet “au poivre” £3 supplement – sorry!

Baharat spiced aubergine and chick pea stew with saffron rice


Elderflower and pistachio cake with pistachio ice cream

Dark chocolate ginger cheesecake, stem ginger crème fraiche
